A French press, called a cafetiere, caffetiere a stanouille, press pot, coffee pot, or just caffe, coffee plunger or French press, is an old-fashioned coffee drinking device, normally made of metal, with a long handle to be able to put the caffetiere straight on the pot or press to brew. A true French press pot will offer you a superior quality of coffee and will enable you to control the amount of coffee grinds you get from each brew. Either way, the French presses are going to make your coffee making the experience that much more enjoyable.
